A Six‑Fluid Portfolio Engineered For Every Stage Of Ethylbenzene Dehydrogenation, Catalyst Bed Management, And Styrene Purification
Styrene & Catalysts
Protecting Selectivity And Yield — From Feed Pre‑Heating To Final Separation Column
In styrene production and catalytic processing, thermal precision is not merely an operational parameter — it is the direct determinant of reaction selectivity, catalyst longevity, and product purity. At Chemie, our six‑fluid portfolio — Eurotherm 320, Eurotherm 330, Eurotherm 350, Eurotherm THT, Eurotherm R‑1000, and Ruetasolv B‑PD — covers every thermal zone from cold‑start pre‑heating through high‑temperature catalytic reaction conditioning.
Eurotherm 330 (‑49 ~ 315 °C) delivers reliable cold‑start circulation and low‑viscosity heat for ethylbenzene feed pre‑heating and benzene/toluene light‑end separation. Eurotherm 320 (‑30 ~ 320 °C) controls styrene distillation column reboilers with the precision required to hold product temperatures safely below 125 °C, eliminating the risk of spontaneous polymerization. Eurotherm 350 (‑30 ~ 350 °C) and Eurotherm THT (‑10 ~ 350 °C) manage high‑load catalyst pre‑heaters and reactor feed conditioning at 200–350 °C, with THT's hydrogenated terphenyl chemistry providing superior oxidation resistance for extended continuous campaigns. Eurotherm R‑1000 offers high heat‑capacity thermal response for tight catalytic bed temperature control where rapid stabilization is critical. Ruetasolv B‑PD (‑55 ~ 350 °C), Germany‑sourced diisopropyl biphenyl with a pour point below ‑40 °C and autoignition above 415 °C, delivers exceptional chemical stability and full recyclability — ideal for organosilicon catalyst synthesis and fine chemical intermediate reactions where fluid purity directly protects catalyst performance.
